Elevator traction machine is an important part of elevator system, which is used to provide power and drive the operation of elevator. It is usually composed of motor, reducer, traction wheel, wire rope and other components.
The following are the main components and functions of elevator traction machine:
1,Electric motor: elevator traction machine uses electric motor as power source to convert electric energy into mechanical energy and provide enough torque and rotational force to drive traction wheel.
2,Reducer: the reducer is located between the motor and the traction wheel, which is used to reduce the output speed of the motor and provide suitable torque and force to the traction wheel. The reducer can be realized by gear, chain or belt transmission.
3,Traction wheel: the traction wheel is a round wheel made of high-strength materials and fixed on the elevator frame. The wire rope is twined on the traction wheel, which provides the power of up and down movement through the rotation of the traction wheel.
