Communication signals between hall call and main control system:
External call up signal and external call down signal: Signals generated when passengers press the up or down button outside the elevator hall. These signals are transmitted to the main control system. The main control system comprehensively judges based on factors such as the current position of the elevator, running direction, and other call signals and then decides whether to respond to the call. For example, when the elevator is on the 3rd floor and running upward, if there is an up call signal on the 5th floor, the elevator will stop and open the door when it reaches the 5th floor; if there is a down call signal on the 2nd floor at the same time, the elevator will respond to the down call after completing the upward journey.
External call display signal: Used to display the running status and relevant information of the elevator on the call box outside the elevator hall, such as the current floor where the elevator is located and the running direction of the elevator. These display information is transmitted to the external call display board by the main control system through communication signals so that passengers can understand the real-time situation of the elevator.
