Elevator Lift Safety Gear Cloose Instantaneous Progressive Gear Machine

 

Elevator safety gear is an important safety device in elevator system, also known as emergency braking device or stop brake device. Its main function is to stop the operation of the elevator urgently by clamping the guide rail in case of abnormal situations such as overspeed and fracture, so as to protect the safety of passengers and equipment.

Elevator safety tongs are generally installed on the guide rail in the elevator shaft and connected with the elevator car. When the elevator has abnormal conditions, such as cable fracture or mechanical failure, and the speed exceeds the set safety value, the safety clamp will start automatically. It will quickly clamp the guide rail and generate friction, thus making the elevator stop quickly and fix it on the guide rail to prevent further decline.
